Meet Stephanie
I am a Mother of 2 boys, lactation consultant and speech language pathologist specializing in pediatric feeding/swallowing disorders. As a speech language pathologist, I have spent almost 10 years working in a children’s hospital working with families in a variety of settings, including NICU, ICU, general medical
floors, outpatient and early intervention services.
I was drawn to lactation after going through my own breastfeeding journeys and experiencing first hand the lack of support for women/mothers/families. Both professionally and personally, I became more and more aware of the outdated and incorrect advice that gets passed from mom to mom, friend to friend and unfortunately even from doctor to patient. I want to help change the narrative and increase the support for mothers and families in feeding their babies.
I completed my clinical lactation hours at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and became an IBCLC in 2022. When I am not working, you can find me practicing yoga, obsessing over my boxer Tiki, reading suspenseful psychological thriller novels and trying to teach myself Spanish.
