Prenatal
A private prenatal session takes lactation and infant feeding to a more personal level than what is achieved at a hospital based class. This is a one hour face to face or virtual session discussing your personal medical and prenatal history, including previous lactation history.
Together we will address any concerns you may have and come up with a plan to get your breastfeeding journey off in the right direction. This consultation is ideal for a first time Mom or a veteran Mom who is looking for a different feeding experience. A written plan will be sent to you after the session.
Face to Face $125; Virtual $100
Initial Postpartum
This is a 90 minute consultation including medical and birth history, previous
lactation experience, oral assessment, breast assessment, assessment of a full feeding, regardless of feeding method (direct feeding, pumping, bottle feeding). All babies will be weighed at the start of session, and if directly latching, post feed weights to assess milk transfer.
Together we will create a functional and realistic feeding plan. You will receive a write up of the recommendations and a full report will be sent to the Pediatrician. This is consultation is great for any mama! Struggling to latch? Painful or sore nipples? Concerned about baby’s weight or milk supply? Just want some reassurance?
Cost – $225 ($175 if you book a prenatal appointment)
Follow Up Visit
This is a 60-90 minute session. You can expect us to review goals and recommendations from the previous consultation. The consultation includes latch assessment and pre and post feed weights to assess milk transfer, addressing any additional concerns. You will receive a write up of recommendations and a full report will be sent to the Pediatrician.
90 minutes $190
Pumping Consult/Flange Fitting
This is a 60 minute session where we will spend the time reviewing your breast pump, and ensuring you are using the correct flanges and pump settings.
Face to Face 125; virtual $100
Feeding/Swallowing Evaluation
This is a 60-90 minute session, reviewing you pre and postnatal history, baby’s medical and feeding history. The evaluation will include an oral assessment and a bottle-feeding assessment. Together we will create a functional and realistic feeding plan. You will receive a write up of the recommendations and a full report will be sent to the Pediatrician. This evaluation is best for any baby struggling to accept the bottle, reduced efficiency on the bottle, signs of aspiration or using alternative means of nutrition/hydration (e.g., NG or Gtube).
Initial evaluation: $225
Follow up appointment: $175 *Private Pay only
